NWS collects data necessary to provide the services and deliverables as outlined in a Client’s Statement of Work. These include, but are not limited to, the administration of employee surveys, conducting statistical analyses, and creating Client’s Diagnostics Reports. For such services and deliverables, we leverage the software from two proven and trusted providers, Qualtrics and Tableau. These partnerships exist to assist NWS in delivering high-quality solutions, services, and support in a timely manner to our Clients. These third-party partnerships are exclusively for licensed access to their software. NWS limits the scope of these partnerships because we do not want or allow any third-party employees to share, access, or even see Client data. NWS maintains Data Privacy Agreements with these third parties, and while these agreements align with this Data Privacy Agreement, there can be discrepancies. Third parties whose software is used in connection with NWS, such as Tableau and Qualtrics, may have practices that differ from this Data Privacy Policy. Therefore, Clients should be mindful that this Data Privacy Policy does not necessarily carry over to directly apply to all third parties. Due to this, we encourage you to review their privacy policies to understand how they use your information, as NWS cannot be responsible for their activities. Survey distribution, participation, and data collection are all processed using the software and services of Qualtrics, a FedRamp authorized organization. FedRAMP is the gold standard of U.S. government security compliance, with over 300 controls based on the highly-regarded NIST 800-53 that requires constant monitoring and periodic independent assessments. More information is found at https://www.fedramp.gov. Qualtrics is now ISO 27001 certified. More information is in their security statement https://qualtrics.com/security-statement. Tableau compiles and process survey data, and personal information when relevant, in support of its mission to help people see and understand their data. Tableau works to keep personal information confidential and secure and does not sell any personal data. Reporting of survey diagnostics will be made accessible through Tableau’s secure licenses, accessed through NWS’s Client Portal.
